With the votes counted & awaiting an official announcement, it seems
the RAMON CALDERON (pictured above) has won the REAL MADRID
Presidencial elections. He has beaten by 150-250 votes JUAN PALACIOS
( pictured below), but we may not get the official "ok" for sometime
because of the legal battle with "mail voting & its court suspension"
& a nulling attempt by VILLAR MIR, another of the candidates, who
refuses to accept the result & is attempting a re-count or even a re-election.
As all of this gets cleared up within the next 24 hours or even days,
RAMON CALDERON can be "considered" the next President of REAL
MADRID. Therefore for SFS readers this will mean the following for
the club:
COACH: Fabio Capello
FOOTBALL DIRECTOR: Pedja Mijatovic
SIGNNINGS : Kaka (Ac Milan), Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal) & Robben
(Chelsea)*all are elections promises that we need to see if they
actually come to fruition. Calderon says he has them "signed"
SFS will attempt to give a more accurate picture tomorrow when
things get clearer, as it seems , there will be legal battles & counter
legal actions which may keep us all in limbo.As for the transfer
rumours, stay tuned while the "football market" now really heats up
as a truely "big player" now comes into the market with all
its power to revolutionize the whole scene & shake the European
