Morientes is not having the success that a player of his status
would wish, & it maybe better to return home.
LIVERPOOL have already set the price - 4,000,000 € plus
Italian forward MARCO DI VAIO.
Not too way out I think, the only problem I see is the steep
salary of Fernando Morientes, Valencia may have
difficulties keeping within their players salary cap.
No doubt we will be hearing more in the future.
BARCELONA FC Central Defender RAFAEL MARQUEZ is
currently negotiating to renew his contract. The "angle"
here is, that he wishes for more money, as the player &
club have been at it for the last 6 months.
In a move to put some pressure on Barça, Marquez has
commented on Mexican TV that he would´nt mind playing
at AC Milan.
That should have sent a shiver up President Laporta´s spine,
& no doubt they will sort their differences, as Marquez is a
vital piece in the Barça machine - Marquez knows this perfectly.
Lastly , BARCELONA has renewed French player LUDOVIC
GIULY for another year ( with an option of a second). The
player wanted 2 years, but Guily knows his at the best club
in Europe at the moment, & has little bargaining power. He´ll
just have to work hard & that´s precisely what Barça wants. Tweet
