Spanish national team coachLuis Aragones has named his
list of 23 players that will
make up the Spanish Squad
for this years Germany 2006
World Cup tournament.
The surprise is that Liverpool
striker Morientes & Valencia
mid-fielder Baraja have been
left out.Valencia´s defender
Marchena has also lifted
eyebrows with his inclusion.

There will be opinions from everywhere,this is normal &
typical, as everyone is an expert.My view is that the side
has a conservative colour, & I feel that the national
coach is concerned about Spain´s lack of physical
"muscle" strengh, although on the skill level there is no
doubt about its quality.

sad to see Mori left out...as u righly pointed out, Spain is dependent on the skill of their young players and the coach will naturally be concerned over the lack of muscle strength. Do u agree with Baraja being left out? midfield looks inexperienced except for Albelda.

Baraja has had a bad season , with injury...must have been difficult for the coach to leave him out.
but he must also, reward those who helped Spain qualify.
