FERNANDO ALONSO WINS THE SPANISH GP

The scene could´nt be better, 130,000 + crowd & racing
on home turf; spurred Fernando Alonso to win his 1º
ever Spanish F1 GP at the Montmelo circuit. Below we can
see a picture of the 000s of fans waving Spanish & Asturias
flags as Alonso drives by them. Asturias is the region in the
north of Spain, where Alonso is from & has the distinctive
blue with a yellow cross flag.

Alonso was totally focused for this race, so as to win on home
ground & dismiss thoughts of his possible drop in form, in face
of Ferrari´s great recovery & victories in the last 2 races.
Taking control of the race from POLE, Alonso´s objective was to
create a noticable distance between himself & M.Schumacher,
which he managed & kept throught-out the race.
