Spanish Football has a "new" goal scoring star.Valencia´s striker DAVID VILLA scored yesterday
against Alaves, to take his total tally to 23goals for
the season. This places him 2º with the Top Goal
Scorers in the Spanish Legaue, a title called locally
as the "Pichichi" & has currently Barcelona´s
Samuel Eto´o as Nº1 with 24 goal.
Villa has been adding to his figures in the last few
matches, showing us he has reached top form & may
overtake Eto´o in the next 3 & last "Liga" matches.
This could return the title to a national & cement his
place 100% in the Spanish World Cup squad.

Although Eto's form hasn't been the same since he returned from the ANC, he has been in great form over the past couple of seasons...he missed the 'pichichi' narrowly to Forlan last season and it would be a personal disaster for him if he missed it this time too.
But Villa has been in great form this season...have to watch out for him in Germany.
