Alaves lost to At.Madrid 0-1 (goal by Antonio Lopez)
thus keeping the Atletico UEFA dream alive & lastly
Celta beat Zaragoza 4-0(goals Cannobio(2), Jorge

In Formula 1 Fernando Alonso
finished in 5th position.
M.Schumacher grabbed pole with a
great performace on Ferrari turf.

Its on again tomorrow;a final
all Tennis fans hope for & wish.
Spaniard & Nº2 seed Rafael
Nadal plays Nº1 seed Roger
Federer in the final of the
Monte Carlo Masters.
This is turning out to be rival
matches for the next coming years.
Nadal is the current winner , but
Federer wishes desperately to put
"in his place" the young Spaniard.

Today was played the 1º leg of the
European Cup Final in Handball
between two Spanish teams:
Portland San Antonio & Cuidad Real.
The latter took the 1º leg winning
away with the following score 19-25.
They take a handy lead into the 2º
leg of the Final at Cuidad Real.
Spanish Handball is currently riding
high in quality & success.



Lastly, seeing we are doing
updates on Spaniards,
congratulations to Rafael
Benitez - coach of English
Football team LIVERPOOL -
for winning 2-1 Chelsea in the
semi final of the FA Cup.
Another Spaniard Luis Gracia -
player of Liverpool - scored the
2º goal to give the REDS the game.
Well done boys & Liverpool.

Great to see Spanish Sports is doing well globally & that our
Sportsman are playing a fundamental part in that success.
