QATAR MOTO GP: ROSSI, LORENZO & BAUTISTA WIN IN THEIR CATAGORY

I was concerned about Valentino Rossi,
specially after his fall in Jerez 2 weeks ago.
I thought that he had lost the psychological
edge - see article below: "Valentino
Rossi does´nt scare anymore?" - so
vital in keeping his rivals at bay, specially
the "young turks" : Pedrosa, Stoner, Elias...etc.

It was VITAL today that he regain the reins
& demonstrate that the 7 times World Champ
is just that : a Champion. Today´s win equals
the number of GP wins of another legend
Michael Doohan with 54 wins.
Valentino knew that he had to recover today , it was fundamental , of upmost
importance & cool as a cucumber, managed to take control & win with complete
authority over American Nicky Hayden ( 2º) & fellow countryman Loris Capirossi
(3º).

In the 250cc catagory Spaniard Jorge
Lorenzo won again , showing that he
has matured since last season, with a
calm & calculating race. He managed
to keep under control a determined 2º
place winner Dovizioso & Locatelli
who finished 3º



In the 125cc Spaniard Alvaro Bautista
won again with 2º place going to Kallio
& 3º to another Spaniard Gadea.

Alvaro Bautista is showing us that he
could be the new young sensation this
season, an authentic revelation once
again from the Spanish breeding ground
of great riders.

250cc - 1. Lorenzo (SP); 2. Dovizioso (ITA) ; 3. Locatelli (ITA)
