Real Madrid has its eyes set on DIARRÁ for next season. But it needs to come to an agreement with the club by next Sunday, according to the players agents. WHY? Lyon has a pre - "agreement" with Manchester United , while the player with Real, & the price which will make Lyon happy : 30,000,000 € . Not bad is´nt guys.
If it all goes wrong, Real will go after Liverpools Steven Gerrard as the logical substitute. My question , why not go after both?
For those Lyon & Liverpool fans horrified at the possiblity of losing their players - STOP! This is very typical, the rumours will go on all the way until the end of the World Cup.
Think . If your an agent or club , you may want to bet on your player STARRING & thus ask for more $$$ , right? Except for DIARRA as Mali are not in the World Cup , & in this case, the reason for the rush is that his price is high right NOW . After the World Cup & new "star" may arise & lower his price. Stay tuned for developments.
Real Madrid has also circled in its agenda for next season , Brazilian & Valencia
player Fabio Aurelio to cover a defensive wing position. Once again this will
no doubt be an ongoing story for a while.
Real Madrid as always wants all the best players,
but it can´t have them all. The rumours are
dropped by agents, journalists, players, clubs, coaches...all
motivated by self interests that may not have anything to do with
the stories that are read. The motives? prices , player motivation,
players unhappy with situation - a threat, agents testing the market
...on & on.

The problem with Real madrid is not the players. They need a strong manager. They should go after Alex Ferguson. he is the only one who can discipline the spoiled brats of Real Madrid.
Thanks rustoo. I agree. But I think its also a Directive problem. Remember Real is so different , so big that logic does´nt apply.
Peace & welcome aboard

Being a ManU fan, I would be more than happy to see Diarra move to OT.
Steven Gerrard is committed to Liverpool for another few years, practically for the remainder of his playing days (I hope!), but if he isn't going to Chelsea, he's not going anywhere. Aurelio has also been suggested as a target for Rafael Benitez, though this may have cooled somewhat with the arrival of Mark Gonzalez and Gabriel Paletto, and potentially, it has also been rumoured, Argentine team Independiente's Sergio Aguero. But with Gerrard Rafael is constructing big, so Gerrard, and Rafa, are not leaving Liverpool.
