FC BARCELONA - GARETH BALE HAVE AGREEMENT ?

The rumours that FC BARCELONA "fancies" TOTTENHAM HOPSPURS Welsh International GARETH BALE is not new at all. In fact, Chelsea FC & Manchester City also are throwing "kisses" to the left back in order to entice the player over to their Clubs.

What is new is today's report from Spanish TV - local "Marca" Football program - that FC Barcelona has beaten other pretenders & has come to an agreement with Gareth Bale for next season. The details are 40M€ for a 5 year contract at 5M€ per season. What is now needed is that both Clubs come to an agreement & that Bale pressure Tottenham in letting him go.


While this is still rumour, if your a Barça fan, I would not be jumping for joy as yet. Due to the strong economic crisis & Spanish banking system wows, news is that FC Barcelona ( as many others ) has had their "credit line" restricted. Thus, if this is certainly true, I cannot see where FC Barcelona will find the "40M€" to buy the player.  Apparently Barça & the banks are "working" to find a solution, but the current climate is very stiff.


I feel that this off season will de depressed as many Spanish Football Clubs - even the big ones - will certainly feel the cash pinch while instead of buying many will be selling.
