We had SPANISH BASKETBALL action tonight with REGAL BARCELONA winning the SPANISH "KINGS" CUP FINAL after defeating REAL MADRID 60 - 68 & thus take the title for a consecutive year.

Barcelona wins the 2011 Spanish Kings Cup

Barcelona now has 22 Spanish "King" Cup titles equalling Real Madrid. The MVP was awarded to Barça player ANDERSON who had a fantastic night with 19 points. Lastly, as a piece of trivia, this is the 5th Spanish "Kings" Cup for Barcelona veteran player Juan Carlos Navarro.

The game was pretty much even with Real Madrid playing well, but it was the 3rd quarter were Barça opened up the points gap to which was decisive & the late Real Madrid "come back" attempt failed. Barcelona keeps dominating the Spanish Basketball scene with another important victory over their arch rivals.
