There is agreement between all parties & BENFICA player SIMAO
has been announced as new player of ATLETICO DE MADRID
The player is expected to arrive at Madrid this afternoon for the
medical check tomorrow & if all well, sign his new contract.
The deal is 20M€ transfer fee plus 2 Atletico players, according
to "AS". Simao signs for 5 years & it is speculated that the players

Now it's for real. Atletico attended Benfica's demands and Simão is about to sign a new deal. As to the players that may be involved they might not move to Benfica this season.
I guesse this was a great deal for Simão after all he will receive something like 5 millions a year (400,000 euros per month)!!!

this atletico team looks scary. I hope they get through the romanian team in intertoto, so they have to devote some attention to UEFA cup :D
most the mid to upper level teams are still filling in spots. look at villar :-( we don't even have enough defenders to play, bah.
