The first 45 min was a demolition performance from Real which "trampled" on Barça to score their two match winning goals. The first was a spectacular ASENSIO outside the box shoot the left planted Stegen in the 4th min.
Real Madrid was intense & dominating procedures with brilliant performances from Varane , Carvajal, Kovacic, Modric, Kroos & Lucas Vazquez who later hit the bar. Marcelo was also loose & attacking & from him came a pass that found BENZEMA in the 39th min to score the second goal for Real Madrid.
FC Barcelona was lost & ripped apart looking for the end of the first half. Barça highlighted that they have grave deficiencies in their squad & will need to find solutions if they are to keep up to the level of the Top Clubs.
The second half saw a more relaxed Real Madrid comfortable with the scoreline that allowed Barça to regain more the ball & create chances. Opportunities that came will Messi hit the bar & later Suarez. Sergi Roberto had his chances but at this stage Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas became the protagonist making excellent saves.
Real Madrid continued to create goal chances & Benzema again could have scored but Ter Stegen made a fine save.
Overall deserved victory for Real Madrid which was dominated in the 1º st leg & was far superior tonight in the 2ºnd leg again rattling Barcelona in a very obvious & visible manner. Seventh title for Real Madrid Coach Zidane in just 18 months at the Club.
Real Madrid goes into the LaLiga which begins this weekend very strong.
