FC BARCELONA WINS UEFA YOUTH LEAGUE

Congratulations to Spanish Football Club FC Barcelona Youth Team for winning the first edition of the UEFA YOUTH LEAGUE 2013-2014. The Spanish Club defeated Portuguese Club Benfica in the Final with a 0 - 3 result.

The "UEFA Youth League" is the spin-off of the UEFA Champions League that was put into motion this season as an initiative to lift the competition levels of the youngsters playing European Football. It also serves as a showcase & platform for outstanding talents as most big European Clubs would have their scouts watching closely.

Great match by Barça which were just & deserved winners, that included a fabulous 50 mt goal for Munir. Benfica missed a penalty that hit the bar.
