SPANISH FOOTBALL - LIGA - SUNDAY ROUND 4 GAMES RESULTS

Spanish Football with Round 4 continued in Liga today with 4 matches scheduled. Below is a brief summary of events, the final results - scores & all the goalscorers.

LIGA 2013-14

Granada lost 0 - 1 in a very controversial fashion against RCD Espanyol. Even match with perhaps Granada dominating more that was decided by a minor detail that happened to be a erroneous referee interpretation of a Granada defender passing the ball "intentionally" in the 75th min. Espanyol player Lanzarote scored a free-kick that turned out to be a winner. Granada player Ighalo was sent off for protesting the decision, free-kick & goal.

LIGA 2013-14

Madrid Club Getafe needed desperately a victory to bring back some calmness at the Club & managed a home 2 - 1 win over troubled Osasuna. Osasuna fired their Coach last week & that has not changed their poor play. Although Osasuna scored first thanks to Torres in the 11th min, Getafe cameback with two magnificent goals from Miku, first in the 35th min & second in the 51st min.

LIGA 2013-14

Malaga FC overran troubled Madrid Club Rayo Vallecano with a smashing 5 - 0 victory. Complete dominance by the home team that gave us a  HAT TRICK from Moroccan player El Hamdaoui ( 31st , 62nd & 67th min) who played his first full game. The other goals for Malaga came from Portillo in the 40th min & Eliseu in the 49th min.

REAL BETIS 2013

Real Betis won Valencia CF 3 - 1 & aggravated further the problems of Valencia & its Coach Djukic. The home team was far the superior team & even though Valencia sharpened up later in the match, Betis continued hammering away right up till the end.

The three goals for Betis came from Molina in the 8th min which were followed by  22nd & a 35th min goals from Salva Sevilla who put in a good game. Valencia managed a consolation goal thanks to Ricardo Costa with his 68th min header, but the reaction from the visitors came too late.

Monday Round 4 Liga matches scheduled:
