Osasuna lost to Levante 0 - 1 with the home team down 10 men with the red card of Cejudo & after a controversial penalty was given in the 87th min in favour of Levante. The winner came from the penalty when the Osasuna keeper initially saved it but the rebound was put into the net by Levante player Xumetra.
Celta de Vigo again lost at home to Elche 0 - 1 which managed their first victory. Celta dominated most of the encounter but paid dearly for missing their opportunities & when they did manage to score it was disallowed in controversial fashion. The winner came from Javi Marquez in the 63rd min for Elche.

RCD Espanyol hosted Madrid Club Getafe & lost 0 - 2. A relative surprise as Espanyol was looking better but the fighting spirit of the visitors & the two goals by Colunga - 73rd & 92nd min - carried them through onto victory & the three points.
Real Betis managed an important win to keep them on track for the season defeating Villarreal 1 - 0. The visitors suffered their first loss of the season in an controversial match were they claimed a penalty on their player Aquino that was dismissed. This caused that a red card be given to Villarreal Coach Marcelino for his severe protesting.
The winner for Betis came in the 36th min from Nosa.
