Even though I am not really a fan of FC Barcelona, I did notice something quite interesting that most (or perhaps all) of these players have in common: They have been part of FC Barcelona's squad in the last ten years. Let's analyze their time at Barça more in-depth:
    Rustu: 2003-2004
    Déhu: 1999-2000
    Christanval: 2001-2003
    Bogarde: 1998-2000
    Okunowo: 1998-1999, 2000-2001
    Rochemback: 2001-2003
Eskurza: (Couldn't find the years he spent at FC Barcelona, let's assume that it was over ten years ago).
    Ciric: 1997-1999
    Amuneke: 1997-2000
    Geovanni: 2001-2003
    Maxi López: 2005-2007

Indeed, with the exception of Eskurza (who might just also be in this "within-ten-years group"), all of the other players spent some time of their career at Camp Nou this past decade. This leads to the question... Who was in charge of the Blaugranas' transfers between 1997-2007? It would also be nice to know how much money was spent on these players...

Smart observations Jorge! Also, remember the following, its the readers of "Sport" that did the voting, probably not old enough to look beyond 10 years.

Plus, to add to your insight, Sport is a pro FC Barcelona paper & status quo defender ( Laporta?). Perhaps they let your arguement stand along side this question, "which is the worst line - up...." ...in case someone at some moment needs to pull that rabbit out of the hat.

    High quality comments, thankyou Jorge
