An even game between both with accuracy & efficiency not being something standing out by its abundance. In fact, the tactical set up & the increasing frustration in both sides perhaps resulted in more messy play then anything else, especially the first 45 minutes.
The turning point came in the 53rd min when Athletic midfielder Ander Herrera fouled Brahimi in the penalty area. Granada foward El Arabi then converted the maximum punishment into their first goal. This swayed things to the home team which got the "sealer" soon after in the 61st min by El Arabi who got his & his team second goal.
Athletic tried to redeem things but the damage was already done while Granada held out for a valuable victory & three points.
