SPANISH FOOTBALL | SEVILLA FC LOOKING GOOD FOR SEASON 2013 - 2014

Spanish Football Clubs FC Barcelona & Real Madrid CF have been getting the mayor headlines of most Spanish Sports papers while they sign the big names & travel around the World. However, there is another Spanish Football Club also doing their work this pre-season & doing it well.

Sevilla FC has sold two important players in Jesus Navas & Alvaro Negredo to Manchester City which has filled their bank account. One would think that the team would suffer after losing two vital pieces but the technical staff has been working hard signing some good players this summer. Without the "big noise" of others Sevilla has been scouting the market & incorporating players which have maintained or better the team if we are to use the pre-season as a reference. Names not so household locally but just as impressive in quality like Raul Rusescu, Kevin Gameiro, Carlos Bacca, Marko Marin ... etc., just to say a few.

Spanish Football 2013

Sevilla FC has qualified themselves for the Europa League stages in an impressive fashion with bags loads of goals & yesterday defeated English giant Manchester United 1 - 3 in a pre-season friendly. The goals of this match were 0-1, Min. 21: Vitolo. 0-2, Min. 25: Marin. 1-2, Min. 64: Valencia. 1-3, Min. 91: Rabello. One of the new names to watch for Sevilla fans this year is Marko Marin who is a class act & on loan from Chelsea FC.

Granted its pre-season, however Sevilla FC comes into the new Spanish Football season solid & strong. Looks like they can give the other Clubs a run for their money.

LATEST: Sevilla FC transfers its Chilean International midfielder Medal to Cardiff City for 11M€.
