With all respects to the home team, they were out played & below level. This isn´t bad at all for them as its great sparring & experience building for their zone Football World Cup qualifying games. Daley Valdes, ex Spanish Liga player, now Coaches Panama & he has given the team some pace & fighting spirit.
Spain had numerous chances throughout the whole match, hit the wood-work & could have increased the scoreline much more than it finished.
Most of the work & damage was done in the first half with goals from PEDRO , two , the first in the 15th min & second in the 42nd min. While DAVID VILLA got a nice goal in the 28th min. In the second half more chances for Spain & SERGIO RAMOS scored a perfect direct free kick in the 81st min. We virtually discovered today a new facet of Ramos Football. Magnificent goal. Newly called up Bilbao player SUSAETA scored the 5th goal for Spain in the 84th min.
The local managed a smile & a goal of their own in the 87th min when GOMEZ converted a penalty - Penenka style & with Casillas as goalie - in favour of Panama.
