REAL MADRID AGREES TO LOAN FERNANDO GAGO TO AC ROMA

According to Spanish Sports paper "As" SPANISH FOOTBALL Club REAL MADRID has Oked the Italian Club AC ROMA suggestion to loan Argentine International midfielder FERNANDO GAGO for this season with the option to buy for 6M€ if desired to continue at the Italian Club thereafter.

The news comes from Italy, concretely "La Gazetta dello Sport" & from the Italian intermediate in the operation - E.Bronzetti - who claims that the player himself is in agreement. The only thing now is that AC Roma finalize the OK with an official announcement which has yet to be made.

The departure of Gago virtually secures that midfielder Lass Diarra stays at Real Madrid another season. The Frenchmen rejected the Tottenham Hotspurs offer apparently shut to surprisingly affirm that he wished to continue at the Spanish Club. A decision which has surprised everyone as he has not a guaranteed place on the team. Said this until the transfer "window" shuts tomorrow at 12 midnight , anything is possible.
