Congratulations to Inter Milan & Coach José Mourinho for yesterdays Champions League Final win over Bayern Munich 0-2. However, my congratulations to the latter must be extended if we are to believe the credible English daily “The Sunday Times” & the local Spanish Sports press like “AS” & “Marca”.
The news is that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez shut an agreement with the still Inter Milan Coach José Mourinho last Friday night in Madrid. Here are the details leaked:1. A 4 year contract. Mourinho asks for a “long-term” project & stability
2. A 10M€ per year contract, just as with Inter
3. Real Madrid has to pay Inter Milan the contract release clause that is rumoured to be 16M€. HOWEVER, Inter President Morrati could excuse this payment as a sign of gratitude for helping to give Inter the European Champions Title after 45 years. Everyone knows that for Inter & in particular Morrati, the Champions Title has been the “holy grail”
The idea is that Mourinho return soon ( he stayed back in Madrid, ...wink wink...) & then spend a few days in Milan organizing himself & could be presented officially next week or the following. The Portuguese Coach has business & personal issue to settle before packing his bags for Madrid.
Although it is not official, & the contract is not signed, everything indicates & points towards the reality that José Mourinho will be the new Coach of Real Madrid as of next season.
Last notes, Mourinho has asked for MAICON as his first signing & speculations are that yesterdays “Man of The Match”, Diego Milito, could be another desired player. Tweet
