FC BARCELONA - JUNIORS - WIN SPANISH FOOTBALL 7 TITLE

The FC BARCELONA juniors defeated the REAL MADRID juniors in the penalty shoot-out in the Final of the Spanish Football 7 (Alevin) Championship. The Barcelona "kids" managed to win the battle of the nerves to take the Title in penalties after the game finished 1-1 in the normal time. It is the 3rd straight title for FC Barcelona in a tournament that gives Spanish Football great future stars, Iniesta & Sergio Canales just being two examples.

Many attribute the current FC BARCELONA success story in the long-line of young players who come up the ranks to nurture the senior team. This year the "junior" Pedro was the sensation & has been called up to the Spanish National Football Team...a fate also reached by Valdes, Iniesta, Xavi , Busquets, Cesc Fabregas & Pique, plus Lionel Messi with Argentina who was "breed" in the junior levels.
