F1 | FERNANDO ALONSO 2º IN THE SPANISH GP

Australian F1 automobile pilot Max Webber put in a great weekend & a perfect race to take the F1 SPANISH GRAN PRIX at Montmelo (Barcelona) this afternoon. The Australian was just “sublime” with his racing & his F1 car operated as smooth a silk. The second placed driver was Spain’s two times F1 World Champion FERNANDO ALONSO who took advantage of a Lewis Hamilton abandoned when his tire blew with two laps to go. Third place went to Sebastian Vettel with a great race as well. Another note & a highlight today, apart from the Lewis Hamilton tire blow-out, was the 4th place for Michael Schumacher which brought back memories & lighted up the crowds with cheers.

The World Championship table currently looks this way:

1. J. Button (UK) – 70 pts
2. F. Alonso (SP) – 69 pts
3. S. Vettel (GER) – 60 pts
4. M. Webber (AUS) – 53 pts
5. N. Rosberg (NOR) – 50 pts

14. J.Alguersuari (ESP) – 3 pts
17. A. De la Rosa (ESP) – 0 pts
