SENNA REJECTS NEWS OF TALKS WITH MANCHESTER CITY

The VILLAREAL midfielder MARCOS SENNA has responded
to news from England with surprise, rejecting that he has been, or
is in contact with MANCHESTER CITY. According to "elmundo.com"
the player has read the news with the high sums of money being
published, but his only wish is to play with Villareal & does´nt know
where the source comes from with his "said" quotes.


















SFS believes that there is no truth to the English press news &
that Senna has no plans of moving while Villareal is in Champions
& fighting for the Spanish title. Senna is not Robinho who must be
thinking why he left Real Madrid , for the money we know, but

RCD ESPANYOL: THREE PLAYER OPTIONS FOR 2009

RCD ESPANYOL get a post ahead of the big Clubs today as they are
in the transfer market news. The "second" Club of the city of Barcelona
is currently in 18th place in the classification table & in the relegation
zone. For the rest of the season they wish to strenghten their side & avoid,
obviously, falling into 2º Division. With this in mind they are looking for a

LIVERPOOL WILL APPEAL IF REAL MADRID GET THEIR WAY

Local papers - "As" & "Marca" - are announcing what is common sense,
that is, you don´t need to be a genious to know that LIVERPOOL FC
will appeal to UEFA &/or SAT if the European Football governing
body allows REAL MADRID to subscribe both HUNTELAAR &
LASSANA DIARRA into the Champions League competition.

UEFA has already pronounced itself that ONLY ONE can play, but Real
Madrid & it´s incompetent Football Directive team need to cover its
big error & avoid more harsh criticism. How? Take it to the tribunials,
win time & eventually take it to the Sporting Arbritrage Tribunial (SAT):
a very risky path that can turn UEFA against the Spanish Club in the
future.













Here is the planned Real Madrid strategy: inscribe both players
on the 2nd Jan 2009, the UEFA Committee will reject the both option.
The Club will then appeal this decision which UEFA will again reject.
However, using the excuse that it has gone through UEFA, will take the
case to SAT, a legal decision body outside UEFA but with overriding
powers, that could cause an unwanted legal precedent.

Liverpool will then be ready to appeal, & it may cause a domino effect
that other Clubs will appeal as well, thus angering UEFA & putting the
European Football Organization as an "enemy" in the future, while now its
a "friend". A can of worms that should not be opened, except in real
authentic cases, which this isn´t however Real Madrid wishes to paint it.

SFS feels it´s a stupid & extremely dangerous strategy, as Real Madrid
has everything too loss & little to gain. The Spanish Club should accept it´s
error, inscribe one player & the current Football Directive team resign for
the good of the Club.

In the end, SFS doubts that all this will happen: that is , going to SAT &/or
the Real Madrid Football Directive team resigning. It´s all smoke screens
to cover another blotched decision, one of many that is hurting the Club,

REAL MADRID IN CONTACT WITH WIGAN OVER VALENCIA

News from local daily "As" report that REAL MADRID has began
contacts with English Premier League Club WIGAN in order to study
the possiblity of transferring its Ecuatorian winger LUIS ANTONIO

Everyone involved in this "operation" has taken on the code of
silence to avoid possible complications. This time around Real
Madrid Directives have done some homework & Valencia is
elegible for a Champions League place.

REAL MADRID 2008/09: THE 20M€ MISTAKE, WHO TO PICK?

Continuing from the below post, from the Spanish daily "As" we receive
notification that UEFA representaive has pronounced quite clearly
that the rules WILL NOT BE CHANGED, as expressed by Mr. William
Galliard. So forget about talking to Uefa or Platini to fix the error by Real
Madrid.

That is, REAL MADRID will have to choose between forward HUNTELAAR
or midfielder LASSANA DIARRA for participation in the Champions
League competition this season.
















Real Madrid has invested 40,000,000€ thinking that both were elegible,
to find out later that UEFA rules only allows one. This bad management
has been the norm since the President Calderon & Football Director
Pedja Mijatovic team took control of the Real ship. A ship that has been
sailing against the current & wind ever since, as this 20M€ mistake shows.

REAL MADRID: HUNTELAAR OR LASSANA DIARRA? ANOTHER TOP LEVEL DIRECTIVE MISTAKE

Hi guys, back from a few days of gaining weight, but enjoyable &
relaxing with all the family.

SFS gets back & reads about another Top level "shit job" at REAL
MADRID. The President Calderon & Football Director Mijatovic
"business clown team" SHOW continues.













Real Madrid began its search around November to cover its centre
forward gap & its defensive midfield hole ( Van Nistelrooy & Diarra
out for the season) with eyes on the Champions League & "La Liga",
but primarly Champions as the local title is currently too difficult with
Real being 12 points behind Barcelona.

Up to here all fine, Real has invested 40M€ in signing HUNTELAAR &
LASSANA DIARRA, big money in anyones language. However the
efficiency & effectiveness of the Investment has devuelved 50% thanks
to the carelessness of its Football Director Pedja Mijatovic & his "team"
who did not investigate & read the UEFA Rules : Article 17.17 & 17.18
























Without getting into details, it says: both new players cannot play together
in Champions (they participated in Uefa Comp.) & Real Madrid can
only subscribe ONE for the Champions League.

This sudden discovery, after buying, has made a list of possible future
signings fall of the list: Di Maria, Krasic, Young... As Real now rush to
find suitable players that fit both team needs & Champions League
elegibility,however the fact will not go away: the Football Directive team
is incompetent!

To try & save face - fix the error - Real Madrid will talk to Uefa - or
President Calderon attempt to plea for a favour from Platini - in order
to reinterprete the Uefa Rules, & allow both players to play in Champions.
A strategy that SFS doubts will work, as it would cause outcry from other
European Clubs claiming favouritism - which it would be. By the way,
Real Madrid has gone out publically - once the error was discovered
- that they knew all along about the Uefa Rules & wished to dispute them
with UEFA: this is pure propaganda Rubbish!

MILOS KRASIC, the Serbian Football Internatonal of CSKA MOSCOW,
has communicated to his Club that he wishes to leave. CSKA has placed
the price of his departure, 20M€, for any Club that is interested in his

over the last month & rumours are that positions are close. The other

SPANISH FOOTBALL - LA LIGA 2008/09 - ROUND 16 SUNDAY GAMES RESULTS

The last Round - 16 - before the Xmas break has given plenty of goals
with some great games that delighted fans this afternoon/evening. Here
is a brief resume with the results & the scorers.
















Great game between two excellent sides, but FC BARCELONA held
out a determined VILLAREAL, with 10 men towards the end of the
match after Barça lost a defender to win 1-2 & maintain a 10 point lead
over 2º placed Sevilla with 31pts.

Villareal dominated the 1ºst half & continued strong at the start of the 2º
half with the reward coming in the 47th min with the goal from Villareal

midfielder CANI. However, FC Barcelona put on the "turbo" & the magic
of Dani Alves came into play with a pass that KEITA headed to equalize in
the 54th min. Then more magic from Xavi Hernandez who passed to HENRY
who tapped in the second in the 66th.

Then with a quarter of the match to go Barça defender Pique was given a Red
Card to leave Barça with 10 men. Villareal made changes putting on more
forwards ( Nihat & Franco) to go for the equalizer. The chances came & they
were plenty but Barça held out to stamp its authority on the Spanish League.




















A relative boring 0-0 draw in the MALLORCA - SEVILLA FC clash
that gave a point to Sevilla to put then 2ºnd on the League classification
table, 1ºpoint ahead of 3ºrd placed Atletico de Madrid.














NUMANCIA are in the relegation zone & showed true grit today to
win 4-3 VALLADOLID, & inject some hope for after the Xmas break.
The goal scorers for Numancia were BARKERO ( above), DEL PINO
(o.goal), ARANDA & BRIT. For Valladolid GOITOM scored twice along
with DEL PINO.




















RACING & MALAGA gave us a 1-1 draw, with goals from BAHA
in the 37th min for Malaga & VALERA in the 67th min for Racing.














Last placed OSASUNA shacked off the bad run & luck to steamroll
GETAFE with a 5-2 victory. Osasuna had already scored 4 in the
first half & left Getafe striving to regain some pride.

The scorers for Osasuna, PASIL (6 th min), JUANFRAN (34th m),
PANDIANI (41st m), NEKOUNAM (above & 45th min) & HECTOR
FONT (81st min). For Getafe SOLDADO scored the two goals in the
65th min & 92nd min.

Important win for Osasuna who remain last.















Important win for REAL SPORTING DE GIJON by the minimum
with a 1-0 home scoreline against ALMERIA. The scorer was
MALDONADO (above) in the 27th min.














Big win for DEPORTIVO who are 7th on the ladder & looking for
European places, as the defeated RECREATIVO 4-1. It was a Deportivo
whitewash with goals from LOPO, SERGI (penalty), BODIPO (above)
& FILIPE LUIS. For Recreativo the only goal came from ADRIAN.
























REAL BETIS have gone into a mini slump & the Xmas break could do them
good to regroup. Today they lost to ATHLETIC DE BILBAO 0-1 who are just
the opposite & have found a string of wins that is putting back the smile at

It´s official, REAL MADRID has announced the incorporation of
23 year old French International LASSANA DIARRA, after shutting a
deal with English Premier League Club PORTSMOUTH & player.
























The player is expected to fly to Madrid for the obligatory medical
checks & sign his contract with will be until 2013. The Spanish Club

SPANISH FOTBALL - LA LIGA 2008/09 - ROUND 16 SATURDAY GAMES RESULT

Two games scheduled tonight in Round 16 of the Spanish League,
the last Round before the Xmas break & important to win in the
psychological area, so as to start well in the last half run for the title
in 2009
























Big clash between REAL MADRID & VALENCIA CF where ARJEN
ROBBEN ( above) played a crucial role in his teams vitally important
1-0 victory. He drove "crazy" the Valencia defence & gave numerous
passes off goal, one which was the winner in the 2ºmin scored by
HIGUAIN who powered a brilliant "crack" shot home.
























The above picture sees Higuaín celebrating & later in the 15th min
Van Dar Vaart, who had a great game, then hit the post!

However, Valencia CF slowly got back & by the early 2ºhalf had
Real Madrid in a defensive tactical stance with their goalkeeper
Iker Casillas stopping everything, specially from David Villa who was
trying everything.

Then just when Valencia had the possibility to get back, a terrible entry
onto Robben by defender Marchena saw him receive the Red Card & leave
Valencia with 10 men. This was a turning point as Real got back & began
to get chances they could´nt capitalise on.

End result a brave & vital Real Madrid victory that will do them a World
of good, & Valencia will certainly go home very disappointed.

The second game tonight between ESPANYOL & ATLETICO DE MADRID
finished with Atletico winning 2-3. MAXI RODRIGUEZ started things scoring
in the the 6th min. The strong Atletico forward line ( Aguero, Forlan, Simao
& Maxi) dominanted the game until the later part of the 1ºst half then
Espanyol began to fight back & find more chances of goal.


















Those chances continued coming for Espanyol in the 2ºhalf as they equalized
via SERGIO SANCHEZ in the 57th min. The game then went "crazy" as both
sides had chances & Atletico were on the ropes. But then SERGIO AGUERO
did his magic in the 82th min to put Atletico ahead, & MAXI RODRIGUEZ
scored again for Atletico´s for their third goal in the 91st min. However,
Espanyol with pride managed another via VALDO in the last moment, but it
was all too late.

MONEY THE OBSTACULE FOR DIARRA TO GO TO REAL MADRID

Who said Football was a Sport. It is of course in its elemental feature, but
it´s the money that moves around, & with the round ball´s only objective
to generate more income.

PORTSMOUTH French International midfielder is learning first hand
how the financial variables are halting his dream to join & play at REAL
MADRID.
















It was a done deal last Tuesday when his Club gave the OK for Real
Madrid to shut everything with the player with its offer of 20M€.
However, Manchester City stepped in & raised the offer to 25€ with
a 8M€/year gross salary that Real Madrid are not willing too match.
At to this, that his representatives have high commission rates & you
have "overblown" sums of money that have complicated the Real
Madrid operation.

The player, according to "AS", has returned to training & will solve his
situation in the coming days. The players only desire is to go to Real Madrid
& to do so will be a case of accepting a lower salary & his representatives
accepting lower commissions. In conclusion, what is happening is that
everyone is playing "poker" to get the maximum out of the transfer.

SFS believes that the player will follow his dream - if that is his dream - &
go to Real Madrid. With all due respect to Manchester City & its history,

UEFA CUP GROUP QUALIFIERS 2008: VALENCIA DRAWS & DEPORTIVO WINS

Two Spanish teams were on the European stage tonight with their UEFA
Cup Groups games & they both finished well.

















French team SAINT ETIENNE finished 2-2 against VALENCIA CF in
a see-saw game in their Group G clash. Valencia CF has grabbed the
2º place in the group after MORIENTES & ZIGIC scored both goals
for their team. The scorer for the French side was ILAN ( 2 goals)
















DEPORTIVO A CORUÑA won 1-0 against French side NANCY in their
Group H clash where the Spanish team is 2º on the ladder. BODIPO

REAL MADRID 2008: DIARRA DONE DEAL & CRISTIANO RONALDO 2009

LASSANA DIARRA has the OK from his English Club PORTSMOUTH
to finish the transfer deal with REAL MADRID, after his Club shut a
20M€ transfer agreement. The official announcement & OK from the 23
year old French International is soon to be announced.

The below image of CRISTIANO RONALDO will be for the 2008/2009
season. The local daily "El Mundo" announced the pact between Manchester
Utd & the Portugues Golden Ball winner 2008, that if he stays this season
& he would be allowed to leave for REAL MADRID at the end of June
2008, where the player wishes to go & play.

This is not the news. The news is that it was agreed between all parties
that this announcement should not be communicated until the end of
this current season, news that most media already had hinted to explain

scouts who are looking at the Belgium Football market for future talents.
They go on to say that two names are on their minds & both are
from STANDARD LEIGE. The first is 19 year old AXEL WITSEL
(below) a defensive midfielder with goal.






















The second is 20 year old STEVEN DEFOUR (below) who is a
creative midfielder, however "less" talented than the former mentioned
according to those in the "know".



















Lastly, continuing with scouting markets for new talents, Atletico de
Madrid are also eyeing French 18 year old promise SOFIANE FEGHOULI
of French Club GRENOBLE. The news is that so are Juventus, Fiorentina,

The news out of "As", reinforced by "Marca", is that REAL MADRID
are on the verge of shutting the transfer & signing of young French
International defensive midfielder & PORTSMOUTH player LASSANA

suspects it´s closer to the former coinciding with French media. Once

names of INTER MILAN Brazilian MANCINI & ASTON VILLA

The Englishman Ashley Cole is considered the "new Beckham" &
new Coach Juande Ramos likes the player. The only handicap is
that Aston Villa asks for 30M€ which maybe a bit steep for Real

SPANISH FOOTBALL - LA LIGA 2008/09 - ROUND 15 SUNDAY GAMES

You thought "La Liga" was only the FC Barcelona vs Real Madrid clash,
wrong, the rest of Round 15 games were played today with great goals &
interesting results
















Giant step for SEVILLA who defeated VILLAREAL 1-0 tonight in a
great & intense game that keeps Sevilla climbing positions. The only
goal came thanks to RENATO ( above) in the 45th min.

















RACING got ahead first by a GARAY free kick, but ALMERIA
equalized via ACASIETE. Result 1-1 draw


















Plenty of goals in the VALLADOLID - DEPORTIVO game where
the former won 3-0. The first goal came from SESMA in the 14th min
& the other two came from PEDRO LOPEZ - 25th & 56th min - one
of which was a real beauty with a chip over the goalie.
















ATHLETIC DE BILBAO gained a very needed win against SPORTING
with a 3-0 scoreline. LLORENTE ( above) converted a penalty in the 5th
min , followed by IRAOLA in the 23rd min & LOPEZ in the 30th. All the
action happened in the first half as the second turned out to be even affair.



















MALAGA won a tough & "dog" game towards the end against
NUMANCIA with a 2-0 scoreline. The goals came from APOÑO
(penalty) in the 86th min & BAHA in the 90th min
























Big win for GETAFE 4-1 against MALLORCA who are going through
tough times. CONTRA (above), UCHE, MORAL & GAVILAN scored
for Getafe, while Mallorca´s solitary goal came from ADURIZ


















Valuable victory for RECREATIVO in the last moments thanks to
the goal from ADRIAN (above) in the 84th min over OSASUNA
who just can´t find the luck to grab a victory. They are dangerously
looking down the 2ºDivision tunnel! Result: 1-0
























Important victory for ATLETICO DE MADRID 2-0 over REAL BETIS that
keeps them close to the top pack of Clubs in the calssification table with the
5th spot & ahead now of Real Madrid. MAXI RODRIGUEZ scored first in the
19th min to set the path for his team, where SERGIO AGUERO added a second
with brilliant play in the 81st min. Atletico are starting to look good, lets hope

PAVLYCHENKO SOUNDS AS POSSIBLE NEXT SIGNNING FOR REAL MADRID

The news from England is that Russian International & TOTTENHAM
forward PAVLYCHENKO is on the REAL MADRID agenda as a possible
signning this January. The news has been picked up here locally & has
"excited" the Football scene. Apparently it has been new Real Coach
Juande Ramos who has asked for the Russian.

The forward arrived at Tottenham for 15M€ but has´nt adapted

to the team or the language which is halting his progression. A

SPANISH FOOTBALL - LA LIGA 2008/09 - ROUND 15 SATURDAY GAMES RESULTS

Firstly, please excuse SFS as its having a big dispute with its internet
server & its not giving its readers the posts that they should be getting.
SFS will attempt to do its best during this period which may last a while

Two games played on Saturday, one which eclipsed all, the FC
BARCELONA vs REAL MADRID classic which finished in a 2-0
victory for Barça. This puts them 12 points ahead of its "eternal"
rival a practically puts Real out of the title race, for the moment.


















Above is the picture, Barça finally broke through the Real "wall"
in the 83rd min with the SAMUEL ETO´O goal. Before this Real Madrid
had played a magnificent game as they knew their limits & played to
defend & counter-attack. In fact, they made Barça look ordinary all night
as they frustrated Barça blocking all their moves. Players like Salgado,
Cannavaro, Metzelder, Ramos,...etc were outstanding.


















However, Barça is too much Barça, & the joy came as expected.
The last 7 minutes of play saw the flood gates open as Barça finally
ran over its opponent.
























MESSI put the final nail in the coffin in the 91st min to finish
the job & make his team even more leader of the classification
table. Great win for Barça who look unstoppable, proud loss for
Real who will get better.

The other game saw a 10 men ESPANYOL lose 2-1 away to
VALENCIA CF.

Espanyol started well getting ahead in the 27th min via MARTINEZ,
but lost the good work when Rufete was given the Red Card leaving
Espanyol down to 10 men.

From here Valencia took control with goals from ALBIOL (below) in
the 58th min & VICENTE in the 81st to stay closer to Barça in the
classification race
