Valencia CF hosted Madrid Club Getafe & managed a 2 - 2 draw. Valencia did not impress showing signs of ongoing mistakes which nearly cost them the victory. Getafe was unlucky not to have taken the 3 points.

RCD Espanyol with new Coach got back into winning ways after defeating 1 - 0 Las Palmas. the only goal came from Caicedo in the 66th min.
The city of Seville came to a halt for the big derby between Real Betis & Sevilla FC. The final result a 0 - 0 draw in an intense, passionate & fired-up match with sideline arguments etc. However while the "blood boiled" there was little real Football with Betis goalie Adan stopping Sevilla forward Gameiro in the only real chance of the game. Shared points.
