Liga 2014-2015

A win for Sevilla FC against Villarreal would place them joint Liga leaders, & things went their way with a dramatic finish & 2 - 1 win. The match was even up until Villarreal got ahead in the 79th min through Vietto. But Sevilla FC pushed on by their home crowd & their pride equalized through Denis Suarez in the 88th min. Sevilla FC then won a penalty in the 93rd min which Bacca converted for the victory & with it lifted the roof of the stadium with joy. Great comeback from Sevilla.

Spanish Football Liga 2014

Getafe  & Atletico de Madrid played out tonight a city of Madrid derby with the victory going to the visitors 0 - 1. Important win & 3 points for At. Madrid which puts them up in the classification table just 2 points behind the co-leaders Barça & Sevilla FC.

Rough match with plenty of yellow cards & a red card to Getafe defender Alexis in the 56th min after some "physical stuff" occurred on Mandzukic.  In fact it was the Atletico de Madrid & Croatian forward who scored in the 40th min.

Getafe was down 10 men from the 57th min & paradoxically played better. Atletico de Madrid goalie Moya avoided a clear goal chance from Getafe player Sammir & the Atletico defence later held on under the Getafe siege.

Hard work & sweat for At.Madrid for the three points.
