Real Sociedad played Almeria this midday & lost 1 - 2. Deserved win for Almeria which put in a good performance against an irregular Real Sociedad. The goals for Almeria came from De la Bella (own goal) in the 29th min & Maura Dos Santos in the 50th min.
Almeria then went down to 10 men when Dubarbier was sent off which allowed Real Sociedad to react & manage their only goal from Castro in the 84th min. Minutes later Almeria lost another man - Ximo Navarro - to a red card in the 87th min.
Cordoba hosted Sevilla FC & lost 1 - 3. Solid performance from Sevilla with effective counter-attacking, physical muscle & good tactical discipline. The goals for Sevilla came from Bacca in the 7th min, M´Bia in the 71st min & Bacca (penalty). The goal for Cordoba came from Borja Garcia in the 82nd min.
Villarreal won Madrid Club Rayo Vallecano 4 - 2 after a remarkable comeback effort being 2 goals down. Rayo Vallecano was all clear sailing with goals from Kakuta in the 21st min & later Bueno in the 28th min. However, things went wrong & Villarreal commenced their comeback charge with goals from Epinosa in the 32nd min, Musacchio 63rd min & two from Vietto in the 74th & 87th min.
Goal feast at Levante which hosted FC Barcelona & lost 0 - 5. Neymar scored first for Barça in the 33rd min from a brilliant Messi pass, but things go complicated when Levante lost player Vnytra to a red card (a harsh decision) in the 40th min after committing a penalty. Messi then failed & missed but the damage was already done to the home team.
The flood gates then opened for Barça & Ratikic smashed - must see - the second from outside the box in the 44th min. The third goal came from Sandro in the 56th min from another Messi pass, Pedro got the fourth in the 63rd min & Messi scored the fifth with a nice chip over the keeper.
Another win for Barça in Liga, four out of four, & current leaders.
