Spanish Football Round 28 Liga matches continued today with four games scheduled. Below are all the final results - scores along with all the goalscorers.

Spanish Football

The midday game was between Elche & Real Betis which ended after 90 mins in a 0 - 0 draw. Both teams unhappy with the shared points as both had numerous chances to put the ball in the opposition net. Never happened.

Spanish football 2014

FC Barcelona won 7 - 0 Osasuna to keep up with rivals Real Madrid & Atletico de Madrid in the Liga title race & set themselves up for next Sunday when Barça travels to Madrid for the "Clasico" were the Spanish League title could be settled. With that issue on the side for now, the victories of both Barça & Real Madrid yesterday sets up their clash next week as the Football event of the year & the "vibing up" has already began.

Today Barça was a one way street, a well tuned machine which overrun Osasuna that was "lucky" only to have received 7 goals. Lionel Messi got himself a HAT-TRICK as he progressively lifts in form & just in time for the "clasico". A screamer of a game from Pedro, Xavi & Iniesta, while Cesc Fabregas, & Neymar was left on the bench all game with a long face. Here are all the goals:

  • Messi 19th min, 1 - 0
  • Alexis 21st min, 2 - 0
  • Iniesta 33rd min , 3 - 0
  • Messi 62nd min, 4 - 0
  • Tello 77th min, 5 - 0
  • Messi 87th min, 6 - 0
  • Pedro 90th min, 7 - 0
As you can see a real demolition job on Real Osasuna.

Liga Soccer 2014

Great match from Sevilla FC which recovered from their Europa League defeat on Thursday by Real Betis taking their "anger" out on Real Valladolid with a 4 - 1 win. Comfortable for Sevilla which saw a great Marko Marin in action with possibly his best game of the season.

The goals came in the following manner, with the first from a Ratikic penalty in the 23rd min, Gameiro with two goals ( 41st & 66 ( penalty) ) & Diogo in the 74th min. Real Valladolid managed a consolation goal from Javi Guerra in the 76th min.

Spain Soccer Liga 2014

Set back for Valencia CF which went down to the home team Real Sociedad 1 - 0. The only goal came from a Jose Angel pass which Agirretxe finished off in the 61st min. For Real Sociedad this was enough although Griezmann could have finished off Valencia had it not been for a great Diego Alves save. Valencia then had a chance to equalize through Jonas but he could not convert the opportunity.

MONDAY NIGHT Round 28 game:
Villarreal - Athletic Club Bilbao
