SPANISH FOOTBALL ROUND 24 LIGA MONDAY NIGHT GAME RESULT

The last scheduled Liga match for Round 24 was played tonight between Malaga FC & Real Sociedad. The final result was a narrow 0 - 1 win to Real Sociedad which puts them at the door of the Europa League table positions ( 4 points from Champions ), while its all the contrary for  Malaga which are on the boarder of the relegation zone.

Fierce encounter with a home side playing for its future & showing their teeth. But it was Real Sociedad which opened the scoring with a Carlos Vela 10th min goal. This put Malaga on alert & they began to lift their intensity & game.

The second half was Malaga attacking in waves & Real Sociedad Chilean goalie Bravo became the hero of his team as he made save after save. Malaga virtually cornered & suffocated the visitors in the last 20 mins as they threw everything in their attempts to score.

However, Real Sociedad held on with tooth & nail & managed to get three valuable points for their season cause. Malaga on the other hand are nervous as their minds focus more on avoiding possible disaster & relegation.
