JESE RODRIGUEZ KNOCKING ON THE REAL MADRID - SPAINISH FOOTBALL TEAM DOOR

Jese Rodriguez, born Las Palmas ( Canary Is, Spain ), Spanish U-21 International & Real Madrid forward is in vogue. The youngster once again took hold of his opportunity last night in the Spanish Cup semi-final against Atletico de Madrid & scored the second team goal. Apart from this, most observers agreed that he was one of his teams Best Players.

Real Madrid

The 20 year old has been finding opportunities in the past weeks while mega-signing Gareth Bale has been sidelined. The "kid" has taken his chances,  nearly scoring in every game to seriously put his name up as a regular Real Madrid player. In other words, using the Entertainment Industry vocabulary, a "Star is Born".

Funny how Football events evolve week after week. At the start of the season his U-21 International & Real Madrid team-mate Alvaro Morata was the "chosen one" to make the jump into the senior team. Things looked promising until last month when Jese burst onto the field. Coach Carlo Ancelotti has taken a certain "liking" & Coach Assistant Zidane has taken Jese under his personal wing.  The "kid" simply does not let his team or admirers down every time his team needs his services.

So much so, that today Spanish Football National Team Coach, Vicente Del Bosque, admitted that Jese Rodriguez at this rate is a perfectly logical candidate to be included in the Spanish National Squad for the upcoming World Cup in Brazil.  Nice words, perhaps a bit too early in the development phase of Jese ,  but very motivational which will lift his drive for more playing time.

The player may continue having more on-field chances of play while Cristiano Ronaldo serves out a 3 match suspension in Liga after receiving a red card against Athletic Club. The absence of CR7 gives Jese a chance to play in his natural flank, the left side, where he may further tantalize us all with his speed, ambition & goals.

Stay tuned!
