PARIS ST GERMAIN CONTACTS MESSI FOR NEXT SEASON ?

From France & from one of the local Sports papers "L´Equipe" comes the news that Paris St. Germain has began initial contacts with the "inner circle" of FC Barcelona player Lionel Messi to study a possible massive offer for next summer.

This is not new in Spain as it has been speculated that Messi is "unhappy" at Barça. The new Club President Bartomeu said yesterday that the Club will better his current contract to a level of "Best Player in the World". However some observers are suspecting that Messi maybe thinking in making a change for other reasons than strictly Football. 

The operation will be very difficult but as the French paper writes PSG wants to sound out the player now, allow time to work things out & see if they can convince Messi to come over to Paris. The French Club has contacted the father of Messi & representative Jorge Messi & PSG wants to make a "bombshell" during the summer.

At this moment one would think that the idea is outrageous & that it will not happen, however recent events like:

• Accusation of tax evasion,
• The coming of & rise of Neymar, 
• Accusations of money laundry with "drug money"
• The end of the "winning cycle" at FC Barcelona, & lastly
• The not too healthy "cash flow" of FC Barcelona, 

may all contribute to push the balance over to PSG.

The last point is no fairy tale. FC Barcelona are soon to commit over 600M€ to remodel & better their Stadium "Camp Nou", & with ex President Sandro Rosell out of the way some Directives have also considered selling Messi & taking the money, although publicly they cannot voice their opinions.

With the Spanish Anti-corruption Authority investigating the current Barça Directive Team over the "Neymar Transfer" any new issues to rise could force Club Presidential Elections in July of this year & under such uncertain conditions PSG could pounce & make their final "killing" move.
