ATLETICO DE MADRID KOKE CALLS THE ATTENTION OF FC BARCELONA - MANCHESTER UNITED

The 21 year old Atletico de Madrid midfielder Koke has become the talk of the Football Community with his extraordinary performances at Club level which has earned him a place in the Spanish Football National Team. Born & raised Football wise at Atletico de Madrid the player has blossomed & matured under Coach Simeone to become a vital part of his team & a Spanish Football revelation. 

The attention has caught the eye of many European Clubs & two in particular are beginning to do the rumour mill. Spanish Football giant FC Barcelona along with its English counterpart Manchester United are said to have focused their attention on Koke for a possible offer & signing. In the case of Manchester United it has been seen & is known that the Club needs to strengthen its midfield area, while FC Barcelona needs to begin thinking about "renewing" its midfield as Xavi & Iniesta ( more so the former ) are "moving on" in age. 

If there is any truth at all with these rumours, FC Barcelona may have a slight advantage because the 5M€ transfer deal of David Villa to Atletico de Madrid came with an "agreement" that Barça would have a first preference over the Atletico young stars.

Said all this the player renewed contract with Atletico de Madrid last September until 2018. This will not "transfer-proof" Koke from other Clubs, it will make pretenders have to fork out more money from their pocket.
