UEFA TOP 10 CANDIDATES EUROPEAN PLAYER SEASON 2012-2013

UEFA has released its 10 candidates that will opt for the UEFA European Footballer of the Year ( season 2012-2013). Two players will represent Spanish Football in Lionel Messi ( FC Barcelona ) & Cristiano Ronaldo ( Real Madrid). The list is full of Bayern Munich Players as to expect with their tremendous last season of success ( Bundesliga, German Cup & Champions League).

The list of 10 players will be reduced to three & announced on the 6th of August . Then the winner will be announced at the end of August at Monaco coinciding with the UEFA Super Cup match between Bayern Munich - Chelsea FC 

The 10 UEFA candidates:

Gareth Bale (WAL) – Tottenham Hotspur FC
Cristiano Ronaldo (POR) – Real Madrid CF
Zlatan Ibrahimović (SWE) – Paris Saint-Germain FC
Robert Lewandowski (POL) – Borussia Dortmund
Lionel Messi (ARG) – FC Barcelona
Thomas Müller (GER) – FC Bayern München
Franck Ribéry (FRA) – FC Bayern München
Arjen Robben (NED) – FC Bayern München
Bastian Schweinsteiger (GER) – FC Bayern München
Robin van Persie (NED) – Manchester United FC
