LIVERPOOL FC - INTER MILAN EYE FC BARCELONA DEFENDER MONTONYA

There is a "tug of war" between English Premier League Club Liverpool FC & Italian Club Inter Milan for the FC Barcelona defensive "pearl" Martin Montoya. The English Club thinks Montoya is the candidate to substitute Carragher, while Inter Milan see Montoya as the "fill in" for injured defender Javier Zanetti.

Martin Montoya is said to be thinking about a move away from Barça because current left-back defender & Brazilian International Dani Alves seems to have a firm hold on the position. Thus the player looks elsewhere to continue evolving with his Football & his career  However, FC Barcelona will not be so comfortable or so willing to let go easily of a clear talent that is a natural substitute for Alves in case of injury or suspension. If they do decide to open the gate, the price maybe high.
