TOP 20 WORLD FOOTBALL - SOCCER - EARNERS 2013

Football magazine "France Football" has released their list of Top World Football Players earnings for 2013. The notable surprise is that David Beckham currently at French Club Paris St Germain over takes FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi in the Nº1 position.

The French magazine complies salaries ( fixed & extras ) plus publicity/marketing earnings to calculate the figure. What calls my attention ( & many ) is that in the case of David Beckham only 9% of his earnings come from the practice of Football. Never before since France Football has been making this list public has anyone reached the 36M€ mark which highlights the incredible power of his "image" the main source of his income.

From the Spanish Football Players perspective the Top Spaniard is Fernando Torres (Nº10) with 16.3M€, followed by David Silva ( Nº11) with 16.2M€ with Iker Casillas (Nº16) at 12.7M€.
