VALENCIA CF continue with their winning run, although they suffered mid way through the match to lift back in their 4 - 2 victory over Madrid Club GETAFE. Valencia started well with a 1st min goal from SOLDADO & another in the 7th min by JONAS. Getafe reacted with a goal from ALVARO in the 12th min as the match was on fire early on.
Valencia then got the third in te 30th min via COSTA & then unexpectedly suffered as Getafe poured on their stuff for which they were rewarded with a goal by ALEXIS in the 60th min. Getafe were close to equalizing but VALDEZ managed a fourth for Valencia in the 92nd min to firmly secure the three points. The important thing tonight was to win for Valencia via any method.
ATLETICO DE MADRID won 1 - 0 against CELTA DE VIGO in a frustrating match for the Atletico team & all their followers They tried & tried to find goals all night but ran into Celta until the 77th min when substitute ADRIAN scored & broke finally through. More chances for Atletico thereafter but again they continued to miss their opportunities plus went down 10 men when defender Miranda got a red card in the 87th min. Result, three points won in a hard manner, but a win after all.
