FC BARCELONA | WELCOME BACK ABIDAL

This post is more than just about Football, there is a strong human quality the shakes the emotions. Frenchman ERIC ABIDAL shook off cancer & then had to have a liver transplant to stay alive. Double "knock-out" blows.

The FC BARCELONA Football player announced last season that he was playing for his life & that Football would have to be parted for sometime. In fact his doctors told him that he may well never play the Sport again, something to which Eric did not take too well.

Today those same doctors have given Abidal the OK to begin training & place his sights on returning to the Football field. The Frenchman has already spoken with Barça & their Coach Vilanova to begin planning his comeback which could be in January 2013.

An example for many, an inspiration for those in a similar situation & another story about taking hold of your fate & going for it no matter what the conclusions.
