SPANISH FOOTBALL - LEAGUE | SATURDAY ROUND 12 FINAL RESULTS

SPANISH FOOTBALL this Saturday with four games of Round 12 of LA LIGA. Below are all the final results along with all the goal scorers.

Spanish Football 2012

OSASUNA & MALAGA FC played out a 0 - 0 draw. Malaga has lost steam in La Liga & this is their third straight match without scoring. The only "real" goal, was disallowed in the 3rd min when Osasuna Kike Sola put the ball in the back of the Malaga net, he was not off-side. The home team were not happy at all at the end of the match.

Spanish Football 2012

VALENCIA CF defeated RCD ESPANYOL 2 - 1 & sank the latter further into their particular season nightmare. The match for Espanyol was cruel, very cruel, as the winner came from a penalty that never was in the 90th min that ROBERTO SOLDADO scored for the home side as the winner. Espanyol also received two red cards, but managed to bravely equalize in the 31st min via LONGO after Valencia opened in the 16th min via VIERA. Alarm bells at Espanyol!

FC BARCELONA keep on doing what they do best, win & win well. Again they controlled events & won REAL ZARAGOZA 3 - 1 with MESSI again on fire. The Argentine opened proceedings in the 15th min. Zaragoza reacted with a MONTOÑES equalizer in the 23rd min, but that was basically all their real danger, as SONG put Barça back ahead in the 28th min from a brilliant Messi play with back pass.

LIONEL MESSI then secured things for Barça with a curler in the 60th min & Iniesta nearly got a fourth in the 80th min but he hit the bar-post. Another "night" at the office for Barça, work well done.

Spanish Football 2012

REAL MADRID steam-rolled ATHLETIC CLUB BILBAO 5 - 1 with an inspired KARIM BENZEMA who was clearly the man of the match with his goals & his goal-passes. The Frenchman took his opportunity with Higuain out injured & opened in the 12th min with a lovely chip over the goalie from a Modric long-range pass. From here Madrid took over & their personal "party" began.

SERGIO RAMOS scored the second for Real Madrid in the 30th min, & BENZEMA pulled a whipped goal that curled into the net in the 32nd min to lift the applause from the crowd. Bilbao had there moment & they did score in the 41st min via IBAI GOMEZ, but that was their only glory.

The second half was a one side show, a rapid counter with a Ronaldo pass to Benzema who found OZIL in the 55th min was the fourth. Then KHEDIRA who came on after a spell out due to injury scored in the 71st min from a Arbeloa play. Their could have been more but the Bilbao goalie Gorka managed to keep it down to five.
