REAL MALLORCA lost 2 - 4 to FC BARCELONA in a great game of Football, with Mallorca nearly pulling off a comeback after Barça relaxed in the second half. The saviour for Barça was again Lionel Messi who managed to score in the vital moment to halt the ambitions of the home team.

Barça was three goals up at the end of the first half thanks to XAVI ( 27th min) , MESSI ( 43rd min ) & TELLO ( 44th min). The second half was a different matter as Mallorca played better 6 put Barça on the back foot. PEREIRA scored for Mallorca in the 55th min & CASADESUS a second from a penalty in the 58th min. City of Madrid derby this afternoon/night between ATLETICO DE MADRID & GETAFE with the home team back to their winning ways with a 2 - 0 final result. Worthy victory that could have been much bigger had Atletico been more accurate with their opportunities.

Tough call for REAL MADRID which visited LEVANTE under rain & with a waterlogged pitch that made it very difficult to play Football. It was not pretty stuff at all, while Real Madrid was without true forwards - injuries - Levante was sticky & physical. So physical that early on CRISTIANO RONALDO received an elbow not seen by the referee that cut open his eyebrow & was substituted half-time. However before that, the Portuguese forward managed to open the scoring in the 21st min.

The second half saw both teams make some tactical changes & in the 61st min Levente equalized via ANGEL. Frustration then crawled in with posts included for Madrid & a missed penalty by Xavi Alonso in the 71st min that surprised by how bad it was taken.

Real Madrid via Coach Mourinho then showed his last card. He put on young MORATA & minutes later headed the winner in the 84th min. The youngster become the hero.

Real Madrid under Mourinho wins for the first-time at the Levante ground. Hard worked victory & three valuable points. Final result 1 - 2.
