SPAIN 2 GERMANY 2 | FEMALE 2013 SWEDEN EURO CHAMPIONSHIPS

SPANISH FOOTBALL is not all about our male players, there is the other sex which has performed merits that gets front page news & well deserved. The Spanish National Female Team managed a "histroric" 2 - 2 draw against Germany. Why historical?

Lets have a quick look at the German record to date: 7 x European & 2 x World Champions. When it comes to Female World Football,  Germany is up there with Brazil & the USA.

The Spanish Female Team is currently in the Group 2 qualifying process for the 2013 Sweden Female European Championships. The Spaniards actually lead the Group & will again play Germany next year at their home turf , a difficult match indeed, but not impossible. Congrats to our girls!

The Spanish Females haven´t as yet the qualification assured but are looking good.
