FC BARCELONA | THIAGO SILVA STILL ON THEIR LIST

SPANISH FOOTBALL & Barcelona based Sports paper "Mundo Deportivo" remind readers that FC BARCELONA has not forgotten about AC MILAN & Brazilian International defender THIAGO SILVA. The fact was that Barça would have made a "serious" effort this season for the defender but the "money situation" at the Club did not permit extend itself beyond Alexis Sanchez & Cesc Fabregas.

Here is the issue. If FC Barcelona has an incoming problem, it is not with the forward or midfield areas, it is with the defence. Eric Adibal looks like not renewing & Carles Puyol is getting on with age & injury is rearing its "head" more than wished. Barça Coach Guardiola has had to recovert midfielder Mascherano into a Central Defender along with another midfielder Busquets at differing occasions. This & added with possible injury to Gerard Pique, Barça finds itself with a "potential" problem in defence. 


Thus FC Barcelona has not forgetten Thiago Silva & is keeping a close eye on the player. It is forecasted that Barça will have a "new injection" of money ( sponsorship, marketing, TV ...) for next season & "Mundo Deportivo" publish that part will go to Milan for Thiago.
