Spain U-19: European Champions 2011

There are some exceptionally talented Spanish Football youngsters in this U-19 team. Real Madrid player MORATA was awarded the "Golden Boot" of the tournament with his 6 goals. Valencia CF forward ALCACER - who scored twice today - is a class act, along with FC Barcelona winger DEULOFEU, the extraordinary Real Sociedad player RUBEN PRADO, new Getafe player & Spanish Captain SARABIA...& the list goes on. Just fabulous all of them.

The match was
justifiably won by Spain who was the team that controlled the ball, created play & created multiple occasions with many unluckily not turning into goals thanks to a good Czech goalie Koubek. The Czech team however do deserve their merit & acclaim as they played "their game", counter-attacks that were 100% effective, in that , two chances & two goals, both in the 52nd min by KREJEL & in extra time by LACHA in the 97th min.

The great achieve of this U-19 Spain is that they came back from behind twice & never gave in on their belief, play & their Football. In the 84th min AURTENETXE equalized to bring on the extra-time & kept Spain alive. Then ALCACER scored two brilliantly worked & executed goals in the 107th & 115th min to give the title. Magnificent.

Congratulations Euro Champs!
