SPANISH LEAGUE action tonight with the last scheduled match of Round 31 between REAL ZARAGOZA & GETAFE. The home team won 2 -1 & gained some much needed air in their struggle to get out of the relagation area of the table. However, not the same story for Getafe that have entered into a "deadly spiral" that has them looking at the 2ยบ Division.

Real Zaragoza dominated the first half with goals from PONZIO in the 13th min & BERTOLO in the 34th min. Getafe managed a goal via CASQUERO in the 45th min that lifted their spirits. But Zaragoza went into "defensive mode" & held out for three vital points.
