Finance expert Dr. Peter Rohlmann publishes in “Sportintelligence” a study from 2005 – 2009 on the sales of Football Club shirts throughout the World. His final results are that REAL MADRID along with English Club Manchester United are the highest sellers of Football shirts in the World with sales of between 1.2 & 1.5 million each per season . 
On a more global financial scale the Premier League is economically more powerful that the Spanish League & the Italian Serie A according to the already mentioned study.
