SPANISH FOOTBALL - LA LIGA - ROUND 35/ 2008: REAL MADRID CHAMPIONS 2007-08

REAL MADRID is the Spanish League 1º Division (La Liga)
Champion for 2007-2008 after defeating Osasuna 1-2 in a tough game
with Cannavaro being sent off. All 3º goals came late, in the last
13 ºminutes.











HIGUAIN ( below) gave the winner & the Championship in the
89th min with his goal & Real Madrid second of the night, after Osasuna
scored first via PUÑAL (83rd min) & then ROBBEN ( 87th min)
with Real´s 1ºst of the game.

DANI GUIZA becomes the Spanish League Top Goalscorer after
scoring twice today in MALLORCA´s 1-2 victory over ATHLETIC
DE BILBAO (goal LLORENTE). Guiza takes his tally to 24 goals.

VILLAREAL won 2-0 GETAFE & stays second on the League
ladder. The two goals came from Turkish star NIHAT

FC BARCELONA trashed VALENCIA CF 6-0 with young BOJAN

scoring two goals. The other goals came from MESSI, XAVI,
HENRY ( twice). Valencia are dangerously close to the relegation

zone.

Another young player, NACHO CAMACHO ( 18 years old) comes

of age with his 2º goals, along with AGUERO, in ATLETICO DE
MADRID 3-0 victory over RECREATIVO. Atletico maintains the

precious Champions 4ºth place on the table
