CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Q/FINAL 2008: FC BARCELONA WINS

Huge victory tonight for FC BARCELONA 1-0 in the return leg
against SCHALKE 04, that takes them into the semi-finals to meet
Manchester United. Big win because apart from the threat of being
knocked out if they lost, coach Rijkaard had his job on the line &
breathes again for another match.



















The 1ºst half was Barça´s with the German trying hard, but in
the 42nd min TOURE YAYA ( above) scored the only & winning
goal for Barcelona.
The 2ºhalf was a more equal affair as Schalke 04 had no
alternative but to go all out & try to score, but Barça keep their nerve
& took the Q/Final with a 2-0 aggregate.

Next hurdle, Manchester Utd! Can´t wait.
