MOTO GP: SPANIARD GP ROOKIE JORGE LORENZO GRABS POLE
The Spanish raider JORGE LORENZO is the reigning two time 250cc
WORLD CHAMPION that has "jumped" up to the maximum
catagory this year. He has signned with Yamaha & shares team with
none other than Valentino Rossi, his natural place is therefore to be
the "rookie" & learn the methods of the more powerful motorbike.
However, the "new turk" has surprised everyone at the qualifying
round for POLE position in tonights QATAR GP night circuit. The
Spaniard "blitzed" the favourites & will start the first race of the 2008
season in the pole position. Current GP World Champion Casey Stoner
will start 4th while Lorenzo´s teammate Rossi with take off from the
7th position.
